going back to science
Lately, I’ve been making many connections between what’s happening in my life and the physics I learned a few years back.
Maybe it’s because I’ve been reading a lot of Feynman, hunting for science books in bookstores, or maybe I just really enjoyed learning it.
whatever the reason, one thing I’m noticing is my growing love for science – the physics I learned before and the computer (science) I haven’t yet. Getting better at science is becoming a big focus for me in 2025.
I keep drawing parallels between life and physics concepts, especially with hard work.
like vectors and scalars – it’s not just about how much hard work you put in (which would make sense if life was scalar). but life’s more like a vector – every minute of hard work only matters if it’s in the right direction. too much effort in the wrong direction? gets you nowhere.
another one is activation energy. starting anything – a project, gym routine, diet plan, or even a new job – needs that initial push. once you’re off the ground, you can go as far and fast as you want. but without that push, it stays just an idea.
there’s so much you can tie back to physics – and somehow, it always fits.
peace.
