This is an exaggeration. I know the math I need to know in life, but when it comes to stuff like Matrix Multiplication relating to building neural networks, that is where I fall short.

I mean what is this?

You don't need to know this type of math in life, but if you do, you stand above the rest. The paths that are open to you are much different than those who cannot do the math.

I cannot do the math. I wish I could. My brain just doesn't work like that. I am however good at intuition and understanding qualitative data. It's just a different path.

Everyone has a different toolbox. Not knowing the math isn't a bad thing, just means you have to work the tools a little differently.
