I read a line from one of my favorite Indian metal vocalists that was so beautiful it hit me right in the heart:

“Significant craft that cuts is timeless.”

This holds true not just in art but in every creative and professional pursuit. I’ve learned that the joy of pure creation—crafting something powerful, something deeply resonant, and the discipline of practice—obsessing over tiny details, letting it consume you, and allowing the world to experience it—is incomparable.

Not every piece of work will bring recognition, reward, or adulation. Success may be delayed, or it may never come at all.

But you do it for the love of the game.

I’ve also realized that the work that truly cuts through isn’t always the loudest or the most celebrated in the moment. But it lingers—shaping thoughts, emotions, and even the culture around it.
