i've made a few actual connections on the internet this year that have amped me up to keep going and try hard.

if i discounted the power in this before, or whether you could actually do this, i was mistaken.

finding friends through being yourself ("authentic") is a much slower game than writing threads and getting followers, and it's so worth it. 5 friends that'll always like your stuff, encourage you, gas you up is, it seems to me, invaluable.

and, we're not even really working on the same things. this is helpful.

i guess i'm ending this with a sort of declared interest in making more internet-friends. if you're interesting in connecting, i'm on X/twitter and would love to.

my interests are mostly in the human technology relationship, how to think, building web apps, reading/writing, the english premier league, trail running, and a general interest in things people can explain well that I can learn from.

I'm @pizzamiheart there too if you're reading this transmission and wanna be friends :)
