Using Vision Pro for Work Is Awesome: Ultra Wide Display
This is a series.
Ultra Wide Display gives your Mac a gigantic, customizable display that can float anywhere in space.
It comes in three sizes, which can be scaled larger or smaller as needed. It literally can provide a monitor that would be at least 9 feet wide if it were real life.
And because it floats in space, you can use it anywhere: In a plane, a coffee shop or a park.
For coding, it is amazing because you can have many windows side by side without compromise. You can even have visionOS windows floating outside the display as well.
The main problem with physical monitors is that you can only use them in one location, and you can't easily adjust their position. (You most certainly can't resize them either.)
A hidden benefit of Mac Virtual Display is that it is great for improving your posture while computing. No more bending to look down at a laptop. It's infinitely adjustable no matter whether you’re sitting or standing.
After experiencing Ultra Wide Display, I'm never buying an external monitor again. This feature alone makes Vision Pro worth it for work.
