I believe the opposite: Privacy is more important than ever.

If people choose to trade privacy for convenience, fine. Convenience shouldn't be the default.

Privacy by design: This should be the default product teams aspire to.

Apple leads the industry in this regard, e.g. secure enclave on device and Private Cloud Compute. But many others are trying to follow.

You can still have personalization and data-driven features in your products. But the reframe for product teams is simple: Make privacy the default setting, not convenience.
