Change: Are You Behind or Ahead of the Curve?
This is a follow up to Burn Your Music Playlists … and Boost Your Brain, but the specific details reveal a larger thought:
So in 2025 thus far, I’ve only found one song to add to my playlist. This has never happened.
It got me wondering whether it’s just a one-off anomaly.
Or.
My taste in music is no longer changing, and the music in the market is what’s changing.
I find it hard to believe.
But.
What if this a signal of a widespread internal inertia, where I’m losing “taste” in other domains: political, technological, career, business, investing?
Am I falling behind the curve in these matters? Or is it a natural function of aging?
And if that signal is real, what I should do about it, if anything…
