Oh ye of little faith.

When you're starting out, faith is more or less interchangeable with cope. For losers only. At least the pessimistic guys see reality for what it is.

It's a brutal kind of selection bias and there's nothing more embarrassing than announcing an aversion to faith. Means you keep bad company.

Understand belief, and merely resist the urge to use it for self-soothing cope, and the kingdom of heaven is yours. I've seen dozens of normal guys build careers, fortunes, legacies. Just with steadfast faith in a project, in a team, in an idea, a path.

"Conviction" doesn't look like papers and experiments and cold calculation. It feels like heat in your chest. And it prints money.
