Just Start: Honestly Start The Thing
I launched a new company last week, my goal for 2025 is to make it an success.
I have been on a single minded focus these past two weeks.
I have a goal, I have a plan and I believe in myself that I can achieve it.
Just Start: Honestly, Start the Thing
Last week, I took a leap and launched a new company. It wasn’t something I did lightly; it was the culmination of months of thought, preparation, and planning.
But at the core of it all was a simple truth: I just needed to start.
I realised that no matter how perfect the plan or how detailed the roadmap, none of it matters if you never take the first step.
As we enter 2025, my singular focus is to make this venture a success.
That’s my mission, plain and simple.
I’ve spent the last two weeks in an almost obsessive state of focus—driven by a vision and the unwavering belief that I can achieve it.
Every day, I wake up with a sense of purpose. The goal is clear, the plan is in motion, and the belief in myself is stronger than ever.
But let’s be real for a moment: starting something new can feel terrifying.
There’s the fear of failure, the uncertainty of the unknown, and the nagging inner voice that questions whether you’re ready.
Here’s the thing, though: you’ll never feel fully ready.
There is no perfect time.
The only thing between you and success is yourself.
The perfect time to start doesn’t exist. Waiting for the stars to align or for every detail to be perfect is just another way of avoiding the leap.
So I told myself, "Just start. Honestly, start the thing."
Starting has a magical quality.
It transforms abstract dreams into concrete actions.
Once you begin, momentum takes over.
Challenges that seemed insurmountable from the sidelines become problems to solve.
Plans evolve, adapt, and improve as you gain experience. It’s like stepping onto a treadmill—the hardest part is taking that first step, but once you’re moving, the rhythm carries you forward.
If there’s one piece of advice I can share as someone who’s right in the thick of starting, it’s this: believe in yourself. Believe in your ability to learn, to grow, and to adapt. Success isn’t about never failing; it’s about showing up, trying again, and refusing to quit.
As I build this company, I’m embracing the journey, not just the destination.
Every challenge is a lesson, every setback an opportunity to grow. And while I’m determined to succeed, I’ve come to realise that success isn’t just about the end result.
It’s about the courage to start, the persistence to keep going, and the resilience to weather the storms.
So if you’ve been sitting on an idea, a dream, or a project—waiting for the right time or the perfect plan—here’s your sign. Just start.
Take the first step, no matter how small. You might not have it all figured out, but you’ll figure it out as you go.
And who knows? A year from now, you might look back and wonder why you didn’t start sooner.
For me, 2025 is the year of starting. Of building. Of believing. Here’s to taking the leap and making things happen. Let’s go!

Today’s Thought:
Big goals require ambition, commitment, dedication and a sprinkling of delusion.
